In the 18th minute, Britta Marden gave the visitors a 2-0 lead when she scored an unassisted goal.  With just 3:40 remaining in the first half, Marden struck again, with her second goal of the match.

The second half started off nearly the same as the first when Lucy Pearsall threaded a pass to Swan who knocked in her second goal of the contest, giving the Big Red a 4-0 lead.

In the 57th minute, Pearsall scored via a penalty stroke and 58 seconds later, Kirsten Audette got in the scoring column, pushing DU's lead to 6-0.

The final score of the match came in the 68th minute when Humes connected with Emily Marlatt for the goal.
