Aaron Klimchuk fired a 74 to open play at the 36-hole Strimer Memorial hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University. After the first 18-holes played at Glenross Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio, the Big Red sit in fifth place with a team total of 314. They trail fourth place Wooster by 13 strokes heading into Sunday's final round.
Klimchuk's 74 tied for the seventh best round of the day and paced the Big Red. Following with a 77 was Dylan Lee and DU's four-man total was rounded out by Jeff Maier and Kyle Bates who shot 81 and 82, respectively.
Denison will return to action on Sunday in the final round of the Strimer Memorial from Oakhaven Golf Course in Delaware, Ohio.
