University Heights, Ohio - Anchored by a top five finish from first-year Jack Pelletier, the Big Red were able to snag third place at the Donald Ross Invitational hosted by John Carroll University. Denison finished behind host John Carroll by 12 strokes and champion Otterbein to wrap up the two-day event.
- Denison shot a total team score of 610 and shot 297 in the second round, the third lowest score of the day behind Otterbein (289) and John Carroll (296)
- Pelletier registered his second top 15 finish this season, shooting a score of 147 (74-73) to pace the Big Red.
- Following Pelletier was first-year Rocket Servick, who had a total score of 151 (80-71) and finished in a nine-way tie for 11th. His second round score of 71 was the lowest score on the weekend for the Big Red.
- Senior Drew Brasky (78-78) and sophomore Owen Blakely (81-76) finished right next to each other, as Brasky finished 26th and Blakely finished in a six-way tie for 27th.
- Sophomore Nicholas Viana (81-77) finished his weekend with a total score of 158 and tied for 33rd place.
- Individual performers Jack Yurosek and Joseph Brasky finished in the top 35, as Yurosek shot a total score of 157 (80-77) to finish tied 27th and Brasky shot 159 (76-83) to finish 35th.

The Big Red will travel to Crawfordsville, Ind., October 6-7, for the Wabash Fall Invitational hosted by Wabash College.
