Granville, Ohio- In their second-to-last tournament before the NCAC Championships, the Denison men's golf B squad finished third, and the A squad finished tied for fourth place at the Denison Spring Shootout at the Denison Golf Course. Earning the tournament's individual medalist award was Jack Yurosek, who finished the two-round tournament five under for a final score of 137. His round two score of 66 was a career low, and he was the lone golfer to finish under par.

Round One: Leading the Big Red's B team was Jack Yurosek, who shot even in his first round, finishing with a score of 71, putting him at the top of the leaderboard. Yurosek's efforts were best highlighted by his three birdies across the 18 holes. Behind him was Owen Blakely, who was part of Denison's A squad, shooting three over for a round-one score of 74. Blakely, who finished round one in seventh place,  recorded one birdie on the sixth hole (par 5) and wrapped round one with an eagle on the 18th hole (par 4). Jack Pelletier (+5, 76), and William McCarthy (+5, 76) were among the highest finishers for the Denison A team, while Marcus Ying (+5, 76) was second in the Denison B team to wrap round one.

Round Two: Yurosek elevated his game to another level in the second round, finishing his day shooting five under (-5, 66) with six birdies to be crowned champion of the shootout. The senior finished five strokes better than second place and had his best round of the season thus far. Blakely would wrap up his day with a top-10 finish, placing eighth after shooting a 73 (+2) on the day. Pelletier (+2, 73) and McCarthy (+3, 74) completed their days with top-20 finishes. The Denison B team would finish third overall out of 16 teams, scoring a total of +32, while the A team finished tied fourth, shooting a total of +37 to end the day.
