Big Red finish 11th at Muskingum Spring Invite

The Denison University men's golf team finished in 11th place at the 2011 Muskingum University Spring Invitational held at EagleSticks Golf Club in Zanesville, Ohio this weekend.  The Big Red fired a 624 for the two-round tournament.

DU was led on day two by freshman Aaron Klimchuk who fired a 75.  The rookie finished third on the team and tied for 42nd overall with a 156 (81-75) two-day total.  Sam Kaiser and Jeff Maier co-lead the team with a pair of 155s.  Kaiser shot a 74 on day one, but struggled on the second day with an 81.  Maier was more consistent with a 78 and 77.  Rounding out the Denison scoring was Dylan Lee who turned in a 158 (80-78) for the invitational.

The Big Red return to competition in two weeks (April 9-10) when they host the Ted Barclay Invitational at Granville Golf Course.
