Centre got one goal from Chelsea Klein five minutes into the second half and that would be enough to hold off the Big Red, 1-0 from Danville, Ky.

Denison had four shot attempts in the game and were led by sophomore Brittany Benson (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) who posted 12 saves for the second consecutive contest.  Centre attempted 29 shots while taking 18 penalty corners.

The loss drops Denison's record to 1-4.  They will have two days to regroup before traveling to Gambier, Ohio on Wednesday (Sept. 15) for a 4:30 p.m. contest with Kenyon College.
