10 Football Seniors Inducted Into NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Irving, Texas - The National Football & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced the members of the 2026 Hampshire Honor Society, and 10 seniors were inducted for the 2025 season.

The recipients include Eddie Dreher, Owen Fallon, Will Gause, Oliver Kovass, Christian Lariviere, Mason Marchinsky, Cade Nowik, Jack Williams, Canyon Schneider, and Logan Yater. Denison was one of 37 Division III institutions with at least 10 honorees, and there were 876 honorees in total in Division III.

Dreher, a long snapper from Chicago, Illinois, was the primary long snapper for the Big Red this season, starting all 10 games. In his career, he played in 38 of 40 games, all being on special teams.

Fallon, a quarterback from Richmond, Virginia, appeared in one game this season, where he completed one pass for three yards. In his career, Fallon appeared in 12 games, completing six passes for 66 yards and a touchdown.

Gause, a right tackle from Charleston, South Carolina, was one of the five captains for the Big Red this season, and started all 10 games at right tackle. Gause started in 36 out of 38 games in his four seasons at Denison. He helped anchor a line that would propel quarterback Tyler Green to multiple records broken and a high-powered offense, and helped pave the way for all-time leading rusher Trey Fabrocini.

Kovass, a defensive back from Canfield, Ohio, appeared in seven games this season and recorded six tackles, with two games being multi-tackle contests. Kovass appeared in 14 games across his Big Red career, and tallied seven tackles.

Lariviere, a linebacker from Wayne, Pennsylvania, started and played in all 10 games, recording 22 tackles, two for loss, and three pass breakups. Lariviere also recorded three quarterback hits and a forced fumble and fumble recovery. He played in 37 games throughout his Big Red career, totaling 119 tackles, seven and a half tackles for loss, two sacks, and two interceptions. 

Marchinsky, a quarterback from McDonald, Pennsylvania, played in two games during his senior season, and completed one pass for seven yards while rushing the ball twice for 20. Through his Denison career, Marchinsky played in four games, and was named a captain in his senior season.

Nowik, a wide receiver from Lake Forest, Illinois, appeared in eight games as a wide receiver for the Big Red, catching 18 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for a touchdown in the last game of the season. In his career, Nowik scored eight total touchdowns, and caught 40 passes for 480 yards, rushed 29 times for 119, and threw for 114 yards.

Schneider, a center from West Jefferson, Ohio, started all 10 games at center for the Big Red and started all 40 games in his career. The second team All-NCAC selection helped direct the offensive line to 31.2 points per game and the number one passing offense in the conference.

Williams, a wide receiver from Wooster, Ohio, played in all 10 games this season, catching 55 passes for 552 yards and six touchdowns. Williams was third on the team in catches and yards, and averaged 10.04 yards per catch. In his Denison career, he racked up 79 passes for 784 yards and seven touchdowns.

Yater, a wide receiver from McDonald, Pennsylvania, played and started in all 10 games this season, racking up 67 catches for 760 yards and six touchdowns. He eclipsed two games of over 100+ receiving yards, and had three games of 11 or more receptions. In his career, Yater caught 72 passes for 848 yards and seven touchdowns.

Created in 2007, the NFF Hampshire Honor Society is one of the most comprehensive scholar-athlete initiatives in college athletics, recognizing football players from all divisions who have maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher throughout their college careers. Marking the program's 20th anniversary, the 2026 class also set a new high-water mark for the number of schools with an honoree at 365 colleges and universities. The new milestones reflect the scale and consistency of football's ability to foster academic success among those who play it.
