Indianapolis, Ind. (March 18, 2026)- Denison women's swimming and diving closed out day one of the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in fourth place through four events. Denison tallied 63.50 points after earning five All-American finishes. Leading the field with 121 points was NYU, followed by Kenyon with 109.50, and Emory in third with 92.50.

What happened in Prelims
Denison kicked off day one with the top finish in the 500 Free by senior Emily Harris, who swam the 500 Free in 4:49.19. Though Harris was the only prelim top-three finisher, the Big Red tallied four other finalists throughout the day.Â

Day One Finals
Denison finished the first day with a total of five All-Americans. Senior duo Emily Harris and Quinn Brown earned first-team honors after finishing second (4:48.82) and fourth (4:51.36), respectively, in the 500 Free. Finishing 15th in the 500 Free, first-year Reilly O'Hara earned second team honors, while Ollie Morse tied for 15th in the 50 Free for her second team nod.Â
The final All-American finish came in the women's 400 Relay, made up of Jassy Park, Riley Tofflemire, Phoebe Ferguson, and Emily Harris. The relay finished in 3:42.99 for fifth place.Â

Denison continues to compete in the 2026 National Swimming and Diving Championships through Saturday evening inside the IU Natatorium. Prelim sessions are set to start at 10 a.m. each morning, with the final sessions starting at 6 p.m. each night.
