Big Red Battle in Tough Loss to Bowdoin in Summers Cup Quarterfinals

Philadelphia, Pa. - The Denison men's squash team fell to Bowdoin 6-3 in the CSA Divisional Championships this afternoon. The Big Red got a solid push from their top two spots, but were unable to continue the momentum in the backend. Bowdoin improves to 7-10, while Denison falls to 8-7.

Denison's top two flights in Juan Felipe Hernandez and Nathan Cukierman gave the Big Red two wins to help start momentum, as Hernandez and Cukierman swept their opponents. The middle of the lineup had a tough outing, but Charlie Fenwick and Ross Falcon brought two games to the brink in high-scoring fashion. Rayyan Arif picked up the third win for the Big Red in the No. 9 slot, winning in a thrilling five-set match in which Arif was down 2-0.
