Taute Named NCAC Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week

Cleveland, Ohio - Junior Ada Taute of the women's basketball team has been named NCAC Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after an impressive week of performances.

Taute averaged 18.5 points per game on 46% from the field (12-26) and 44% from behind the arc in their two-game stretch against Oberlin and No. 9 John Carroll. She also totaled eight assists, seven rebounds, four steals and two blocks during the week. Her 25-point outing against the Yeowomen was the fifth time scoring 20+ in the season. On the season, Taute is averaging 13.1 points per game, 6.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.6 steals.

The Big Red will be on the road this coming Wednesday as they head to Springfield, Ohio to take on Wittenberg University at 7 pm.
