SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The No. 6 Denison Women's Basketball controlled the second half and pulled away for a 74–57 road win over the Wittenberg Tigers on Tuesday night inside Pam Evans Smith Arena. Denison used  a strong third-quarter surge to improve to 23–1 overall and 12–1 in NCAC play.

First Quarter: The Big Red weathered an early push from Wittenberg in a back-and-forth opening quarter that featured multiple lead changes. After trailing by as many as five, Denison got inside scoring from Molly Dorighi and Anelly Mad-Toingué to briefly take the lead late, but Wittenberg closed the period at the free-throw line to edge ahead 20–18 after one.

Second Quarter: Denison responded after the break with stronger defensive pressure and scoring to seize control in the second quarter against the Wittenberg Tigers. Third Quarter: The Big Red used a decisive third-quarter run to create separation from the Tigers. After briefly falling behind, Denison answered with back-to-back threes from Brooke Toigo and a strong defensive stretch that fueled a 12–1 surge, pushing the lead to double digits and carrying a 55–45 advantage into the final quarter.

Fourth Quarter: Denison put the game away in the fourth quarter, opening with back-to-back three-pointers from Moore to quickly stretch the lead to double digits.
