Denison Women’s Swimming and Diving Finish Day One of the NCAC Championships Tied for First

Granville, Ohio (Feb. 11): The Dension women's swimming and diving team opened the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships with two top-three finishes for a total of 132 points. After day one, the Big Red were tied for first with conference rival Kenyon College with 132 apiece. In third place is DePauw University, which collected 120 points, followed by the College of Wooster with 112, and rounding out the top five is Wittenberg with 110. 

 

In the first of two relays, Denison's Jassy Park, Riley Tofflemire, Phoebe Ferguson, and Caroline Ramirez swam the 200 Medley Relay in 1:40.72 (B-cut) for second place. The Big Red were just tenths of a second behind Kenyon and about four seconds ahead of third-place finisher, DePauw.

The Big Red would close out day one with an emphatic first-place finish in the 800 Free Relay. This time, Emily Harris, Ollie Morse, Reilly O'Hara, and Quinn Brown took first-place, after swimming the 800 Free Relay in 7:19.14 (B-cut), beating the next fastest time by four seconds.

The 2026 NCAC Championships continue through Saturday evening, with preliminary heats beginning at 9:30 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. each night.
