Kalamazoo, Mich. - Seniors Ethan Green and Kael Shah have reached the quarterfinals at the ITA Central Regional Championships at Kalamazoo College, and both won in straight sets to reach the third day of the weekend. This is the third consecutive season both Green and Shah have made the quarterfinals.

In doubles, both pairs fell in the round of 16, as Green and Shah fell to Bryce Ware and Trey Lambright of Case Western Reserve University 8-5, and Andreas Chapides and Nick Meyers fell to Juozas Cioladis and Maximo Llamas Castellanos of Kenyon 8-4. Jacob Patterson and Arya Ganapathy Kallambella advanced into the semifinals of the consolation bracket, winning their two matches to reach the final four. In singles, five out of the six Big Red would win their first Saturday matchup, but only Green and Shah would go 2-0 on the day.

Shah and Green will start at 11:30 am in singles play, while Patterson and Ganapathy Kallambella will start doubles play in the consolation bracket at 9 am.
