Granville, Ohio- Denison University's Field Hockey team is excited to announce the addition of assistant field hockey coach Allie Hosto to the Big Red coaching staff. A native of Edwardsville, Ill., and a graduate of Lindenwood University, Hosto joins Denison's coaching staff with a coaching background centered around the evaluation and development of her student-athletes.

Before landing at Denison, Hosto coached in Edwardsville, Ill., as a JV field hockey coach, where she focused her efforts on developing effective practice plans that involved stick skills and strength and conditioning. Before coaching at the JV level, Hosto coached at Gateway Field Hockey Club in St. Louis, Mo., and with the FHL in Cleveland, Ohio. At the club level, she instructed athletes between the ages of three and 18, where she evaluated players' abilities and structured practices to strengthen their weaknesses, while focusing on creating a positive and encouraging environment.

As a student-athlete at Division II Lindenwood University, Hosto earned NFHCA D2 All-American Honors and was a member of Lindenwood's SAAC. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Healthcare Administration.
