Granville, Ohio (May 8, 2025)- The North Coast Athletic Conference has released its 2025 All-NCAC women's tennis teams, and the Big Red took home one top honor along with multiple All-NCAC selections.
Caitlin VanWinkle earned Newcomer of the Year and First-Team All-NCAC honors in singles.
Peyton Oda repeated as a First-Team All-NCAC honoree, freshman
Charlotte Johns received Second Team status, and
Caroline Lopez made it to the Third-Team.
Maia Nowicki and Oda received First-Team All-NCAC in doubles while Johns and Lopez earned Second-Team honors. The duo of
Dasha Chistyakova and VanWinkle, who received Third-Team All-NCAC nods, rounded out the doubles all-conference recipients.

Singles Selections
VanWinkle, a first-year from Indianapolis, Indiana, kicks off her Big Red career with a bang, landing Newcomer of the Year and First-Team All-NCAC honors. She posted a 12-9 overall record while going 2-1 in conference play. She tallied a 7-4 record in flight No. 2 and a 2-2 record in No. 3. She is the seventh Big Red player to be named Newcomer of the Year and the first to do so since 2021 when Syndney Cianciola claimed the honor.

Oda, a junior from Elk Grove Village, Illinois, is the second Big Red to be named First-Team All-NCAC. She has posted a 14-14 overall record while going 3-1 in conference play. She is also 10-10 in flight No. 1, the highest number this season by a Big Red. This is Oda's second consecutive First-Team bid.

Johns, a first-year from Northampton, United Kingdom, received Second-Team All-NCAC honors in her first season at Denison. She tallied an 11-12 record with a perfect 3-0 in conference play. She posted a 1-1 record in flight No. 1, and 3-4 in No. 2 and No. 3.

Chistyakova, a sophomore from Dublin, Ohio, lands on Third-Team All-NCAC after posting a 4-1 conference record and a 14-7 overall record. She earned this honor by going 3-1 in flight No. 3 and 6-5 in flight No. 4. This is Chistyakova's second consecutive Third-Team All-NCAC .

Lopez, a senior from Los Angeles, California, once again earns All-NCAC honors, this time making the Third Team. She posted a 15-8 overall record while going 4-1 in conference play. She recorded 4-0 in flight No. 3, 2-0 in flight No. 4, and 3-1 in flight No. 5. Lopez has achieved All-NCAC recognition all four years at Denison, with this being her third consecutive year on the Third Team.

Doubles Selections
Maia Nowicki, a sophomore from Des Plaines, Illinois, and Oda received First-Team All-NCAC honors in doubles after achieving a 15-11 overall record and a 4-1 conference record. They went 11-7 in flight No. 1, and this is collectively their first All-NCAC honor in doubles.

Johns and Lopez earned Second-Team All-NCAC honors in doubles after posting records of 2-0 in flight No. 1 and 7-4 in flight No. 2. This is Johns' first All-NCAC selection, while this is Lopez's fourth Second-Team All-NCAC doubles selection.

Chistyakova and VanWinkle complete the doubles lineup by obtaining Third-Team All-NCAC honors. They posted a 3-1 overall record while going 2-0 in conference play. They went 1-0 in flight No. 2 and 2-0 in flight No. 3 to secure their first All-NCAC doubles honors.

The Big Red concluded its season with an overall record of 16-7, finishing second in the NCAC Women's Tournament after falling to top-seeded Kenyon in the championship match.
