Granville, Ohio- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association recently announced its 2026 Division III Women's ITA Scholar Athlete and All-Academic Teams, and the Denison University women's tennis program had five team members earn scholar-athlete recognition and, as a team, were named as an All-Academic Team. This year, 1,309 Division III Women's student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 177 Women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
A total of five women's tennis student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition. Congratulations Maddie Larsen, Anna Leach, Rafaella Ramos, Audrey Stanfield, and Caitlin Van Winkle.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
As a team, the Big Red finished their season with an overall record of 19-5 and a 6-1 conference record, advancing all the way to the NCAC Tournament Championship. Denison finished the season ranked 21st in the final ITA team rankings.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:

Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),

All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and

All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
