Seven Men's Lacrosse Players Named 2025 All-Americans by USA Lacrosse and USILA

Granville, Ohio — Denison men's lacrosse placed seven players on the 2025 All-American lists announced by USA Lacrosse and the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), underscoring the Big Red's national prominence this season.

Tommy Quinson and AJ Boxler earned Honorable Mention All-American honors from USA Lacrosse, while Quinson, Boxler, Jack Hines, Collin Murphy, Charlie Haight, Andrew Albert, and Grant Larson were also recognized by the USILA as Division III Honorable Mention All-Americans.

Haight and Larson were honored among the top long-stick midfielders in Division III from the USILA. Albert earned his spot for his work anchoring Denison's defense, while Hines and Murphy were recognized for their offensive impact at attack and midfield. 

Quinson, a four-year starter at attack, wrapped up a prolific career with 168 goals and 68 assists for 236 points in 81 games. He also added 169 ground balls and 113 caused turnovers. He was recognized by both USA Lacrosse and USILA for his strong defensive play.

Boxler, a short-stick defensive midfielder heading into his senior year, has played in 41 career games with 35 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers, and 13 clears, along with 1 goal and 2 assists. He, too, was recognized by both USA Lacrosse and USILA for his strong defensive play.

Hines, a senior attackman, appeared in 78 career games and totaled 82 goals and 26 assists for 108 points. He added 26 ground balls and was recognized by the USILA for his consistent offensive contributions and ability to finish in key moments.

Murphy, a senior midfielder, played in 37 career games with 15 starts, recording 27 goals and 16 assists for 43 points. He shot over 40 percent for his career and collected 31 ground balls, earning USILA recognition for his breakout 2025 season.

Haight, a sophomore defender, appeared in 40 career games with 27 starts, finishing with 62 ground balls and 38 caused turnovers. Known for his consistency and physical presence on the back line, he was honored by the USILA for his defensive contributions in 2025.

Albert, Denison's starting goalkeeper for the past two seasons, played in 47 career games and logged over 2,200 minutes in goal. He totaled 411 saves with a .542 save percentage and a 9.31 goals-against average, while also collecting 78 ground balls. His performance in net earned him USILA All-American recognition in 2025.

Larson, Denison's primary faceoff specialist heading into his senior year, appeared in 61 career games and won 568 of 923 faceoffs for a .615 winning percentage. He added 15 goals, 3 assists, and 372 ground balls, consistently giving the Big Red a possession advantage. His dominant play at the X earned him USILA All-American honors in 2025.

Selections for both USA Lacrosse and USILA All-American teams are made by national panels of coaches and contributors, making them among the most prestigious honors in college lacrosse.

Denison will be represented in the USILA DIII Senior All-Star Game by Tommy Quinson (attack) and Jack Hines (midfield), both selected to the South roster. The game, a final showcase for standout seniors, is scheduled for May 23 at 4:00 p.m.
