Granville, Ohio- Three Denison University student-athletes were selected as North Coast Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week for their performances this past week.
Caroline Kittle - Women's Tennis
Kittle, a senior from Indianapolis, Ind., went 3-0 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles at the Midwest Invitational hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College this past weekend. In the Big Red's 7-0 victory over Luther College, she and
Dasha Chistyakova defeated their Norse opponents 7-5. Kittle would then earn her first singles match of the weekend, 6-4, 6-1 on court four. In a tightly contested 4-3 loss to Grinnell, she fell in doubles but bounced back to secure a 6-2, 6-3 decision on court five. Finally, in the third place match against host school Gustavus Adolphus, Kittle held off her singles opponent and beat her in three sets 6-4, 6-7, 10-6, securing one of the two wins for the Big Red in their 5-2 loss to the Gusties.
Ella McRoberts - Women's Golf
McRoberts, a senior captain from Venetia, Pa., earned her second NCAC Athlete of the Week nod this semester after she helped Denison to a sixth-place finish at the Max and Susan Stith Invitational. She finished the weekend tied for 18th out of a field of 75, with a +11 (155) after rounds 78 and 77. McRoberts' efforts on day two of the invitational moved her up the leader board 11 spots, and she finished the day no worse than with a bogey on the card. She finished the invitational top ten in Par 4, scoring for the entire field.
Ari Skolnik - Men's Track and Field | Hurdles
Skolnik, a senior hurdler from Glencoe, Ill., was named NCAC Men's Track and Field Sprints and Hurdles Athlete of the Week after finishing sixth in the 110m hurdles at the Vertklasse Meeting. Denison was one of over 40 institutions competing at the meet that showcased DI through DIII athletes. Skolnik's time of 14.31 is currently the top time in the NCAC, and he is tied for sixth in NCAA Division III.

The Denison men's and women's track teams will compete in the All-Ohio Championships in Delaware, Ohio, on Saturday, April 12.
