Cambridge, Mass.- Denison women's diving traveled east to take on divers from MIT, Emory, Tufts, Hamilton, Simmons, and Wellesley for their mid-season meet at the MIT Winter Invite. 

On day one of the meet, in the 1-meter, Lu-Si Minnich finished the day with 379.55 points after 11 dives,for ninth place. Teammate Fernanda Anzures finished the day with a score of 267.55 for 22nd place.

In the 3-meter on day two of the MIT Winter Invite, Minnich finished seventh after scoring 398.05 points. Anzures finished the weekend in 19th in the 3-meter dive after scoring 258.70 points.

Denison kicks off the New Year at Oakland University on Friday, January 9, for a two-day meet against Oakland and Miami University. Friday's events are set to start at 4 p.m., and Saturday's events are set to start at 10 a.m.
