University Heights, Ohio: In its first head-to-head as a North Coast Athletic Conference member, John Carroll University fell to the No. 4 Denison University women's swimming and diving team 198-61. The Big Red swept nine events across the day and earned 12 first-place finishes en route to their second duel of the season. Â

Denison kicked off its loss to Kenyon and came out strong, sweeping the 200 medley relay. Taking home first in the 200 medley relay was Jassy Park, Riley Tofflemire, Phoebe Ferguson, and Ollie Morse, who swam it in 1:43.88. Two Denisonians finished the day with two individual first-place finishes. Quinn Brown took first in both the 200 (1:51.69) and 500 free (5:00.08), while Jassy Park earned first-place finishes in the 100 back (57.50) and the 100 fly (57.71).
The remaining seven top finishers of the day were Reilly O'Hara, who took first in the 1000 free after swimming it in 10:34.08, Riley Tofflemir, who swam the 100 breast in 1:03.66 for first, while Kayla Tehrani took home first in the 200 fly with a time of 2:07.66.
In the free events, Hailey Kaminski swam the 50 free in 24.12 for the top finish, and in the 100 free, Morse took home first after swimming her event in 51.73. The final two first-place finishes were earned by Caroline Ramirez, who swam a 2:03.78 in the 200 back, and Gwen Bakker, who swam the 200 breast in 2:20.88.

Denison returns to Granville, Ohio, to host the Denison Invitational from Thursday, December 4, through Saturday, December 6. The Big Red will hold the invitational at Trumbull Aquatics Center and will feature a prelims and finals structure across the three days.
