Granville, Ohio - Denison women's squash sophomore, Charlotte Jones was recently named Liberty League Women's Squash Performer of the Week for her victory over No. 49 Sanah Syed of Georgetown University. 

Despite Denison's loss overall to No. 14 Georgetown this weekend, 8-1, No. 42-ranked Jones stood out as the top contributor for the Big Red. As a captain and the team's number one player, she proved it by winning a 3-0 set victory. In the first game, Jones would fight in a close 11-8 win, with this being the toughest set she would have. The second set, Jones would only give up six points in an 11-6 victory, and she finished the day with a commanding 11-3 third game victory. Jones improves her personal record to 1-1 on the season and looks to continue her dominance in December.

Despite the overall loss, Jones and the rest of the Big Red team look to bounce back on December 6, 2025, against Hamilton College and Vassar College in Clinton, N.Y.
