Rome, Ga. - In the season finale of the fall tennis schedule, the Denison men's tennis team had seniors
Kael Shah and
Ethan Green compete in the ITA Cup after they qualified in the ITA Central Regional Championships. While both put up valiant efforts, Green and Shah would lose on the second day, as Green lost in the quarterfinals while Shah would make it all the way to the semifinals.
Both players had impressive first rounds, as Green defeated Kishan Kersten of Trinity 7 (7)- 6 (5), 7-5, and Shah took care of Tarun Korwar in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. In the quarterfinals, Green would put up a great fight against Gage Gohl of Gustavus Adolphus, but would fall in three sets 6-4, 4-6, 7-5. Shah on the other hand would win his quarterfinal matchup, defeating Alex Feies of Carnegie Mellon 7 (7)- 6 (4), 6-3. His run would soon end in the semifinals, as Ruilin Feng of Emory got the best of Shah and won 6-1, 6-3, concluding the fall season for the Big Red

The Denison men's tennis team will look to prepare for the spring season of their schedule, as they return on January 31, 2026 and host Wooster to kick off the indoor season.
