Box Score Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - The Big Red men's tennis team concluded their fall season at the Skidmore Open at Skidmore, and a handful of players picked up consolation wins in their flights. The farthest to make it through the main flights was the doubles duo of Arya Ganapathy Kallambella and Chika Nwaozuzu, who lost in the finals to Max Lindstrom and Nikola Galov of Swarthmore 6-2.

In the consolation finals, two Big Red players won their flights in singles and in doubles. In flight D, Kyle Patrick worked his way through the backhand to win against Robert Cooper of Williams College by retirement. In flight A, Andreas Chapides won in the finals to Simon Volekma by injury. In doubles, Balraj Idnani and Tom Suedmeyer won in flight C, cruising to a 6-3 victory over Jack Pollock and Andrew Mendelson of Bowdoin College. In flight D, Ishwar Idnani and Nickawn Namdar defeated Carter Fayard and Robert Cooper of Williams College in the consolation finals in doubles 6-2.

Up Next for the Big Red

The Denison men's tennis team will compete in the ITA Cup on October 16-19 in Rome, Georgia for the last competition of the fall season. They will return next year on January 31, 2026 and host Wooster to kick off the indoor season.
