GRANVILLE, Ohio – Denison University proudly congratulates alumna Laura Peace Campbell '01 on her induction into the Greater Baltimore Lacrosse Foundation Hall of Fame, an honor that recognizes her exceptional contributions to the sport of lacrosse. The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Martin's Valley Mansion in Cockeysville, Maryland.
Peace Campbell's legacy at Denison is etched in the record books and celebrated throughout the lacrosse community. A four-year letter winner and three-time All-American, she remains the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) and school record-holder for career goals scored (237) and Denison record-holder for career points (296). Her excellence on the field earned her numerous accolades, including NCAC Player of the Year in 2000, NCAC Newcomer of the Year in 1998, and selection to the NCAC 20th Anniversary Team.
Throughout her career, Peace was a model of consistency and dominance, earning four All-NCAC First Team selections, four All-West Region honors, and an invitation to the Division III North-South Senior All-Star Game in 2001.
In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Peace was an active member of the Denison community, participating in the Pi Beta Phi sorority and earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication. She later went on to achieve a Master's degree in Psychology from Washington College.
Peace Campbell was previously honored with induction into the Denison Varsity D Hall of Fame in 2012, a testament to her enduring impact on the university's storied athletics tradition.
