In talking about the day, Coach
Peter Grandbois said, "We were disappointed and frustrated by the loss to Ohio State, as we've set beating them as one of our goals. They are a strong team, and the truth is we didn't warm up well enough before that round and didn't prepare enough mentally. And the results showed. Though the loss was a tough one to take, I was very proud of the way the team bounced back and really raised the intensity level against rival Cleveland State."
The Epee squad went 31-14 on the day
The Foil squad went 34-10 on the day
The Sabre squad went 37-8 on the day.
