Granville, Ohio — Five members of the Denison women's fencing team were named Division III All-Region honorees by the United States Fencing Coaches Association for the 2025-26 season. These awards were based on results and field size at each NCAA Regional Championship and the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference.
Epee
Tessa Randleman (First-Year | Ridgewood, N.J.) finished her rookie season 66-51 and went 3-8 at the 2026 NCAA Regionals. She went 3-3 in the first round and 0-5 in the second, ending her run at Regionals.
Foil
Lal Ertun (Junior | Istanbul, Turkey) was named to the 2026 Division III All-Regional team after a 73-40 season. At the NCAA Regionals, she went 2-4 in the first round and also earned CCFC All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Velma Hall (Senior | Dublin, Ohio) made the USFCA DIII All-Region Foil team for the third straight year. She finished with a 79-45 season and was 3-3 in the first round at Regionals, advancing to the final 12, where she went 2-9. Hall is Denison's only woman with over 300 wins.
Sabre
Natalie Isberg (Senior | Libertyville, Ill.) earned her second USFCA Division III All-Region honor, finishing 40-54 for the season. At Regionals, she went 3-3 in the first round and 1-10 in the pool of 12, ending with 213-159 overall.
Joyce Yu (Junior | Shanghai, China) received her first USFCA Division III All-Region honor. She went 1-5 in the first round at Regionals, finishing 23-17 for the season and 97-75 overall.
