TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (Nov. 3) – The Denison University men's cross country team competed and finished in eighth place at the 2024 North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.
The annual 8K event was held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Indiana. Denison finished eighth in the team standings.
Leading the way for Denison was senior
Nathan Bertman, who finished in 22nd place with a season-best time of 27:07.2.
Hudson Jones, competing in his first NCAC Championship, came in 37th place with a time of 27:48.7.
Phinnigan Spindler finished in 42nd place with a time of 27:45.80 while
Nico Martinelli rounded out Denison's top four in 47th at 28:02.65.
William Allain timed in at 28:06.85 to finish in 51st place.
Zachary Perlman and
Leo Wisnefski finished in back-to-back spots to round out the top seven. Perlman timed at 28:23.75 while Wisnefski crossed the finish line at 28:27.46.
Denison returns to competition when they head to the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 16. The meet will be hosted by Franklin College at Shelbyville, Indiana at Blue River Park.
