SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (Nov. 16) – The Denison University men's cross country team wrapped up its 2024 campaign by competing in the 2024 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championship held Saturday at Blue River Park in Shelbyville, Ind.
The Big Red finished 26th among the 42 competing teams at the event.
Nathan Bertman led the Big Red in his final collegiate cross country race. Bertman logged a time of 26:40.38 to finish 84th in the 283-runner field.
William Allain put together a time of 27:31.30 in the 8K event. Allain finished 148th in his final collegiate cross country race as a senior.
Phinnigan Spindler came in a few spots behind Allain. Spindler clocked in at 27:37.68 to finish in 151st.
Competing in his first NCAA Regionals,
Hudson Jones put together a time of 27:32.32 to come in 160th.
Zachary Perlman would follow with a time of 28:15.21 in his first regional race.
Rounding out Denison's competing runners were
Cole Clodgo, who recorded a time of 28:25.23 and
Leo Wisnefski, who put together a time of 28:56.23.
