Men’s Cross Country Finishes Sixth at Otterbein Invitational

Westerville, Ohio - The Denison men's cross country team finished sixth out of 14 teams at the Otterbein Invitational Saturday morning. They finished 15 points behind fifth-place Capital (138), and host Otterbein finished first with 39 points.

First-year Will Jackson paced the Big Red, finishing in fourth place with a time of 25:57.85 in his first 8k run of the year.
Senior Noah Cyr was the second Denison runner in, finishing 26th with a time of 27:08.51.
Right behind Cyr was senior Oliver DiCerbo, who ran 27:13.44 and finished 27th.
Rounding out the top six for Denison was sophomore Phinnigan Spindler (60th, 28:06.90), first-year Sebastian Klimchak (61st, 28:07.20), and first-year William Fontana (64th, 28:07.84).

Up Next for the Big Red
The men's cross country team will head to Allegheny College Saturday, September 20, for the Allegheny Classic in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
