LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Denison men's cross country team turned in a strong showing at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Saturday, finishing 18th overall with 474 points against one of the nation's deepest fields.
First-Year Will Jackson led the Big Red with an impressive 39th-place finish, clocking 26:01.49, just a one second difference from his conference finish to cap off a breakout season as Denison's top runner. Oliver DiCerbo followed as the team's No. 2, placing 78th in 26:34.84.
Denison's scoring pack held tight with Noah Cyr, who crossed in 100th at 26:51.89, and the duo of Phinnigan Spindler (132nd, 27:24.21) and William Fontana (133rd, 27:24.47) finishing just .26 seconds apart to secure the team's top-20 finish.
Elijah Van Farowe kept the depth strong in 136th with a time of 27:26.14, while Sebastian Klimchak rounded out the seven-man squad in 173rd at 28:04.75.
With a lineup that continued to close gaps and gain experience throughout the fall, the Big Red head into the offseason with plenty of momentum and optimism for 2026.
