Jackson Claims Second Team Honors, Denison Finishes Sixth at NCAC Championships

Gambier, Ohio - First-Year Will Jackson paced Denison into a sixth place finish at the NCAC Championship hosted by Kenyon College. The Big Red totaled 140 points behind fifth-place DePauw, who had 127. John Carroll would take first place with a final score of 24. Jackson picked up Second Team honors, while Noah Cyr came just shy of all-conference, finishing 25th.

Jackson capped off his impressive rookie campaign with nabbing Second Team All-NCAC. He finished 14th with a time of 26:02.0 to lead the Big Red.
Senior Noah Cyr ended his day with a top-25 finish, completing the 8k with a time of 26:31.3.
Oliver DiCerbo and Phinnigan Spindler finished third and fourth for the Big Red, as DiCerbo finished 34th with a time of 26:46.1, and Spindler with a time of 27:02.8 to finish 41st.
Elijah Van Farowe and Sebastian Klimchak rounded out the top-50, as Van Farowe finished 46th with a personal best time of 27:35.8, and Klimchak was right behind him with a personal best of 27:38.2 to finish 47th.
Jack Evans was the last scorer for the Big Red, as he finished with a personal best of 27:45.7 to place 52nd.

The Big Red will gear up for the NCAA Great Lakes Region Championship in Louisville, Kentucky next week on Saturday, November 15.
