MOUNT BERRY, Ga. (Oct. 11) – The Denison University men's tennis team made school history Friday at the 2024 ITA Cup, which is being hosted by Berry College at the Rome Tennis Center in Georgia.

Ethan Green and the advancement of Green and junior
Kael Shah in doubles play, the Big Red advance athletes into the semifinals in both categories.
Denison is the only school to put athletes into the semifinals in both singles and doubles play at the 2024 ITA Cup. This also marks the first time in program history that Denison has had semifinalists in either singles or doubles at the ITA Cup.
Green earned his singles victory in straight sets. Green downed John Lasanajak of Emory University by scores of 7-5 and 7-5. Green will face Alex Feies of Carnegie Mellon in the semifinals Saturday at 9 a.m. Feies won in three sets in Friday's quarterfinals.
Kael Shah suffered a straight-set loss in the quarterfinals on the opposite end of the bracket. Shah dropped his match by scores of 6-0, 6-3 to Advik Mareedu of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
Green and Shah picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win over Javier Gonzalez/Stavros Mastogamvrakis of Tufts. Green and Shah now advance to the semifinals to face Marco Siviero and
Josh Christensen of Gustavus Adolphus College at 3:30 on Saturday.
