PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (March 5, 2023) – The Denison University men's and women's squash teams wrapped up their 2022-23 seasons on Sunday during the final day of the College Squash Association National Collegiate Individual Championships at the University of Pennsylvania.

In the Holleran Cup: B Division South consolation bracket championship, the Big Red's Maria Clara Ramirez came up short, 3-0 (11-4, 11-4, 11-2), against ninth-seeded Rafaela Albuja (William Smith).

Then in the championship of the Molly Cup: B Division East consolation bracket, Juan Felipe Hernandez battled hard and came within two points of winning two sets, but ultimately fell 3-0 (11-9, 11-5, 13-11) against fifth-seeded Ahmed Ismail (Trinity).

Ramirez finished her freshman campaign with a 16-5 overall record while Hernandez finished his rookie year at 14-8.
