BOARDMAN, Ohio. (March 25, 2023) – In a matchup featuring two top-30 teams, the No. 10 nationally-ranked Denison University men's tennis team swept No. 27 Carnegie Mellon University for a 9-0 victory in neutral-court action in Boardman, Ohio.

- Portnoy won 6-4, 6-0 over Joshi at No. 4 singles to make it 4-0.
- Bulger won 6-0, 7-5 over Wernink at No. 1 singles to clinch the match.
- Kael Shah won 6-2, 6-2 over William Wang at No. 2 singles.
- Jacob Patterson and Green both needed a second-set tiebreaker to earn their respective wins as Patterson won 6-1, 7-6 (8-6) over Poh at No. 3 singles while Green was victorious 7-5, 7-6 (10-8) over Chaitanya Irkar in the six spot.
- At No. 5 singles, Andreas Chapides earned a third-set super tiebreaker victory, winning 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (10-5) over Sebastien Lhuillier.

- Denison improves to 13-2 overall while Carnegie Mellon falls to 5-6.
- During their Florida trip, the Tartans fell 6-3 to Denison's next opponent, No. 23 Kenyon College, back on March 8 and also fell 7-2 to No. 8 North Carolina Wesleyan University, but were most recently coming off a 5-4 victory over No. 19 Southwestern University before the matchup with the Big Red.
