GRANVILLE, Ohio (February 21, 2023) – The Denison University women's track & field team was chosen to finish second out of seven teams at the 2023 North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, February 24, and Saturday, February 25, hosted by DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.

Ticket Prices: The prices for admission to the 2023 NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships are $5 for adults, $3 for children (18 and under), while NCAC students with a valid student ID are admitted for free. A two-day pass is also available -- $10 for adults and $6 for children (18 and under).

NCAC Pre-Championship Poll: Denison was picked to finish second out of seven teams after receiving 38 voting points in the 2023 NCAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll. Wittenberg University topped the pre-championship poll by earning all seven first-place votes for 49 total points. Oberlin College, the defending champion, was predicted to finish third with 34 points, while DePauw University (30) was selected fourth.
NCAC Indoor Track & Field Combined Events Championships: The 2023 NCAC Indoor Track and Field Combined Events Championships were held on Saturday-Sunday, February 18-19, inside Denison University's Mitchell Fieldhouse. Wooster senior Claudia Partridge won the pentathlon with 2,779 points. Total team points from the combined events will be factored into next weekend's results toward the final team standings. After the pentathlon, Oberlin has earned 14 points, followed by Ohio Wesleyan (10) and Wooster (10), Kenyon (3) and Wittenberg (2).
2022-23 NCAC Top Performances:
Flashback to 2022: Denison University women's track & field rose one spot and concluded the 2022 North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships at Wittenberg University in fifth place. Oberlin College won the NCAC title with 166.50 team points while the College of Wooster and DePauw University were tied for second with 101 points and Ohio Wesleyan University was fourth with 93.50 points.
