GRANVILLE, Ohio (April 23, 2022) – For the second day in a row, the No. 13 Denison University men's tennis team rolled past its opponent in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament with a 5-0 win, this time over the College of Wooster in the NCAC semifinals.

Singles
- Cianciola then opened up singles action with a 6-0, 6-3 win in the No. 1 position, moving him into a tie for second place on Denison's all-time list for singles wins in a career with 62.
- The win was clinched for the second day in a row by Daniel Garcia at No. 6 singles, who also for the second day in a row won both of his sets by the same score, this time winning 6-2, 6-2.

Team Records:
- With the win, No. 13 nationally-ranked and No. 4 regionally-ranked Denison improves to 21-3 on the season, matching its second most wins in program history from 1999 when the Big Red went 21-2 and last finished in the top-10 at nationals.
- Wooster, meanwhile, which is ranked No. 18 in the Central Region, dropped to 12-8 overall after earning their most wins since the 2006-07 season when they had 15 wins. It also is the first time the Fighting Scots have reached double figures in wins since 2015-16.

Next Up: With an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Team Championship on the line, No. 13 Denison will host No. 25 Kenyon starting at 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 24. During the first meeting this season between Denison and Kenyon back on April 12 in Gambier, Ohio, it was the Lords who came out on top by a close score of 5-4.
