(April 16, 2022) – The No. 13 Denison University men's tennis team led 1-0 to start the match, but was unable to earn another point as No. 2 nationally-ranked the University of Chicago prevailed over the Big Red by a final score of 8-1 on Saturday in natural-site action in St. Louis, Missouri.

Singles
- In singles, Denison forced three sets at both the No. 5 and No. 6 spots as Eason fell 2-6, 6-2, 7-5 after winning the first set in the six hole and Daniel Garcia lost 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-5) in a third set super tiebreaker in the five spot.
- Additionally, Cianciola fell 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Bulger lost 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 singles, Harms fell 6-4, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, and Gonela dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision in the four spot.

- No. 13 Denison fell for just the third time on the season (18-3) and is now 7-3 this year against fellow-nationally ranked teams while Chicago improved to 13-1 overall with its only loss this season being a 5-1 defeat at the hands of No. 1 nationally-ranked Case Western Reserve University at the ITA D3 National Team Indoor Championship on February 27.
