GAMBIER, Ohio (April 12, 2022) – The No. 13 Denison University men's tennis team saw its 15-match winning streak come to an end on Tuesday as the Big Red suffered a tough 5-4 loss on the road at No. 25 Kenyon College.

Singles
- After a 6-3, 6-0 loss for Bulger at No. 2 doubles tied the match at 2-2, Cianciola earned a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles to make it a 3-2 Big Red lead.
- Unfortunately, a 6-4, 6-0 loss by Eason at No. 6 singles tied the match at 3-3 before Ryan Patrick fell in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, 6-1, at No. 4 singles to bring Kenyon to within one point of the win.
- At No. 5 singles, Mackler came up huge with a three-set win, 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, to hold off Kenyon for a moment and knot the match up at 4-4.
- However, in the deciding match at No. 3 singles, Harms won the first set before suffering a tiebreaker loss in the second set and ultimately falling 2-6, 7-6 (9-7), 6-4.
Records:
- No. 13 Denison fell for just the second time so far this season and for the first time on the road, dropping to 17-2 overall while No. 25 Kenyon, which currently sits in first place in the North Coast Athletic Conference East Division at 2-0, improved to 10-7 overall.
Next Up: This weekend, the Big Red will be put to the test against two of the best teams in NCAA Division III in the form of No. 6 Washington University in St. Louis (April 15) and No. 2 the University of Chicago (April 16).
