PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (March 4, 2022) – Denison University's Tarun Mammen and Antoinette Ramsey participated in the opening day of the College Squash Association National Collegiate Individual Championships on Friday at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Mammen was seeded 16th in the Molloy Cup: B Division East, where he matched up against top-seeded Abdelrahman Nassar of Trinity in the first round and fell 3-0 (11-5, 11-9, 11-6). Then in the first round of the consolation bracket, Mammen squared off against No. 9-seeded Luis Enrique Moncada Gonzalez of Chatham and lost 3-0 (11-6, 11-4, 11-9).

Ramsey was seeded 16th in the Holleran Cup: B Division North as she faced top-seeded Si Ma of Stanford in the first round and fell 3-0 (11-1, 11-2, 11-3). In the consolation bracket, Ramsey took on No. 8-seeded Ellie McVeigh of Columbia and lost 3-0 (11-3, 11-1, 11-6).

This ends the first full varsity seasons for the Denison University men's and women's squash teams.
