BOSTON, Mass. (March 18, 2022) – The No. 16 Denison University men's tennis team fell behind 3-0 after doubles, but won five of the six singles matches to come from behind and take down No. 9 nationally-ranked Brandeis University 5-4 on Friday afternoon.

- Ryan Patrick won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 singles to get the Big Red on the scoreboard.
- Mackler won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4 singles to make it a 3-2 deficit.
- Tim Cianciola tied the match at 3-3 with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles.
- Gonela won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 6 singles to give Denison a 4-3 lead.
- Jack Bulger then clinched the team victory with a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles.
- In the final match to finish at No. 3 singles, Marc-Lennart Harms fell in a third set super tiebreaker 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8).
Records:
- No. 16 Denison (7-1) won its fifth match in a row and fourth match this season against a fellow nationally-ranked team while Brandeis dropped to 6-3.
