GENEVA, N.Y. (March 16, 2022) – The No. 16 Denison University men's tennis team started off its Spring Break trip to the Northeast on a high note, winning 9-0 at Hobart College on Wednesday at the HWS Tennis Center.

- Ryan Patrick won the first singles match to finish 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 5 spot.
- Gonela won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 6 singles to clinch the win.
- Harms won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3 singles, Cianciola won 6-0, 6-3 in the No.1 spot, Bulger won 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 2 spot, and Mackler won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.

- Denison improved to 6-1 on the season with what was its seventh straight win against Hobart, which fell to .500 on the season at 3-3. The Big Red are now 8-1 all-time against the Statesmen since the two teams began playing in 2001.
Next Up: The Big Red will battle against two nationally-ranked teams during the rest of their Spring Break trip. Denison takes on one of the top-10 teams in NCAA Division III, No. 9 Brandeis University, at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18, followed by No. 13 Wesleyan University at 1 p.m. the next day on Saturday, March 19.
