Game 1
- Sophomore Charlie Fleming took the ball for the Big Red in game one and kept the Gators' offense at bay through a complete seven innings of work. Pitching his third complete game of the season, Fleming allowed two earned runs on nine hits with four strikeouts over 100 pitches to improve to 6-1 on the season.
- Fleming also received support from the Big Red offense who gave the sophomore right-hander an early lead in the top of the second when junior Daniel Spencer drove home Danny Alvarez with an RBI single to center field to go in front, 1-0.
- After the Gators tied the game at 1-1 entering the third, the Big Red wasted little time in retaking lead, thanks to a two-run double from senior Brian McAuliffe that put Denison back in front, 3-1. Two batters later, fellow senior Ty Robinson entered the hit parade with an RBI double to right center field to increase DU's lead to 4-1.
- Allegheny cut into the Big Red's lead in the bottom of the sixth when Chase Chodkowski connected on an RBI double to make it a 4-2 game, but Fleming closed the book on the Gators when he retired the side in the seventh to give Denison their 20th win of the season.
- The Denison offense recorded four runs on seven hits, including a 2-for-4 performance from McAuliffe, who also added two RBI. Robinson and Spencer each drove in a run for the Big Red while Dylan Hunter, Max Lahn, Alvarez, and Anthony Ruggieri each scored a run.
Game 2
- In game two, the starting pitching looked to pick up where it left off for both squads with Denison's Taylor Perrett and Allegheny's Daniel Morgano cruising through the first two innings of action with no runs allowed and a combined five strikeouts.
- In the top of the third with a runner on first and two outs, the Big Red broke the scoreless tie when Hunter lifted a two-run home run to left field, giving Denison the first lead of the game, 2-0.
- After both sides went scoreless in the fourth, sophomore Sam Correa recorded the first home run of his Denison career in the top of the fifth when he connected on a solo shot to left field and increased DU's lead to 3-0.
- Thanks to a run scored from Robinson and an RBI single from Jake Welsch in the top of the sixth, the Big Red carried a 5-0 lead into the home half. Despite Allegheny's deficit, the Gators put their rally caps on in the bottom of the sixth when they posted four runs on five hits, including a two-run triple from Jake Stotsky to cut the Denison lead to one, 5-4, with one inning to play.
- Following a three up, three down inning for the Big Red in the top of the seventh, Caleb Struewing, who relieved Perrett in the sixth, returned to the mound in the bottom of the frame and retired the side to earn his second save of the season. The win moved the Big Red to 21-10 overall in 2021 while Allegheny dropped to 15-12 to end their season.
- Perrett earned the win after allowing four runs on eight hits with four strikeouts in 5.2 innings pitched. He improved to 4-2 on the season with the victory.
