Women’s Golf improves to 5-0 with win over OWU

RESULTS

GRANVILLE, Ohio -- Denison women's golf continued their winning streak on Saturday afternoon after posting a team score of 326 to take down Wittenberg (362) and Ohio Wesleyan (404) at the Denison Golf Club in Granville. The win pushes the Big Red to 5-0 to start the season.

Megan Wong grabbed her third solo win of the season, shooting +8, 79 that included a front-nine score of +1, 36. Wong has finished in the top-2 in five tournament rounds, including three solo wins and one win shared with Laine Hursh.
Hursh finished the day with a +9, 80 to land in second place while Sophia Alexander posted her best round of the year, shooting +10, 81 which helped her finish third overall.
Julia Shafir and Megan Munn closed out the starting five with rounds of +15, 86, and + 21, 92, respectively.

Denison women's golf will travel to Wooster, Ohio this Sunday, April 4, to take on Wooster in a head-to-head match, looking to improve upon their 352-372 win on March 20. Tee times will begin at 11:00 a.m.
