Denison men turn in second-straight win over OWU

RESULTS

GRANVILLE, Ohio -- Denison men's golf topped Ohio Wesleyan for the second day in a row on Saturday afternoon, this time at the Denison Golf Club in Granville with a final score of 300-316.

Marc Mitchell grabbed his first medalist honors in his best round of the year so far, shooting a round of -2, 69. Mitchell made 6 birdies, including all three par-5s.
Ben Scherman was off to a hot start, making a number of long putts that led to being -2 through 13 holes before eventually finishing with a round of +3, 74.
Jesse Felker made two eagles and two birdies en route to a +7, 78..
Jack Schaeffer and Griffin Hayden rounded out the starting five with rounds of 79 and 87, respectively.

Denison men's golf will be back on the course next Saturday and Sunday, April 10-11, when they travel to Columbus, Ind. to compete in the Franklin College Spring Tournament at the Otter Creek Golf Course.
