Denison women open 2021 with win over DePauw

RESULTS

GRANVILLE, Ohio— Denison women's golf kick started their 2021 season on Friday afternoon with a 328-350 win over DePauw University at the Denison Golf Club in Granville.

Sophomore Laine Hursh won her first medalist honors with a round of (+4) 76, including a front-nine score of even par, 35.
Backing up Hursh was Megan Wong with a final score of 80 and Sophia Alexander with an 83.
Sophomore Julia Shafir rounded out DU's scoring with an 89 through 18 holes.

The Big Red will be back in action this Saturday, March 20 when they travel to the Wooster Country Club for a 12 p.m. tee time with the Wooster Fighting Scots.
