Men’s Golf takes down DePauw in season opener

RESULTS

GRANVILLE, Ohio— Denison men's golf opened their 2021 campaign on Friday afternoon with a 291-320 victory over DePauw University at the Denison Golf Club in Granville, Ohio.

Sophomore Sam Davis led the way with an 18-hole score of 70 (-1) to win his first medalist honors with an impressive 23 putts.
Ben Scherman and Will Grady followed with rounds of 72 and 74 respectively, and first-year Davis Johnson carded his first collegiate round with a (+4) 75.
Sophomore Jesse Felker finished in a tie for fifth with a 76 (+5) and junior Marc Mitchell tied for ninth with a 78.

The Big Red will be back in action this Saturday, March 20 when they travel to the Wooster Country Club for a 12 p.m. tee time with the Wooster Fighting Scots.
