Box Score GRANVILLE, Ohio—Denison women's lacrosse improved to 7-3 overall following a 26-0 victory over Hiram College on Saturday afternoon at Piper Stadium.
The Big Red took a 10-0 lead 11 minutes into the contest and never looked back. Casey McTague scored four goals and added three draw controls. Jane Goodspeed posted nine draw controls, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers. Kiely Noonan and Lee Hayman both netted hat-trick's while Maddy Heher followed with two goals and two assists.
Denison held a 37-3 advantage in shots while winning 21 of 27 draws. Hannah Magarian played the first half in goal for the Big Red and finished with one save. Maeve Caldwell played 21 minutes in the second half and turned in one save.
NCAC play will continue tomorrow (April 7) when Denison travels to Allegheny for a 2:30 p.m. start.
