No. 11 Women's Lacrosse Closes Spring Break with 15–4 Win Over Connecticut College

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. — No. 11 Denison women's lacrosse closed out its spring break trip with a strong 15–4 win over Connecticut College on Wednesday evening, improving to 7–1 on the season.

Denison set the tone early with a 3–0 run behind goals from Finlay Harmon, Madison Goldstein, and Grayson O'Marra. After Connecticut College answered once, Harmon added her second of the quarter to give the Big Red a 4–1 lead after the opening frame.

The Big Red extended their advantage in the second quarter as Harmon completed her hat trick and Bridget Sheehy found the back of the net, sending Denison into halftime with a 6–1 cushion.

A dominant third quarter put the game out of reach, with Denison outscoring the Camels 6–1 in the period. Harmon added two more goals in the stretch, while Sheehy capitalized on a man-up opportunity. Maddie Chase, Emersen Thompson, and Addie Clift each scored in the closing minutes as the lead ballooned to 12–2.

Mary Martinson opened the fourth-quarter scoring and later added her second goal of the game, while Chase also notched her second to cap the Big Red's 15-goal performance. Connecticut College added two late scores, but Denison's control never wavered.

Harmon led all scorers with five goals, while Sheehy, Chase, and Martinson each recorded two. Thompson, Clift, Goldstein, and O'Marra rounded out the scoring.The Big Red dictated play throughout, holding a commanding 34–10 advantage in shots, including a 21–8 edge in shots on goal. Denison also held the advantage in draw controls (14–7) and put consistent pressure on the Camels' defense, converting 6-of-10 free-position opportunities.
