NCAA Tournament Bracket

The Denison women's lacrosse team has qualified for the 2018 NCAA Division III Tournament and will host Calvin College on Saturday, May 12 at 2 p.m. from Piper Stadium.

Denison qualified for the NCAA postseason by winning the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament for the fifth-straight year and the 13th time, overall.  This is Denison's 20th NCAA Tournament appearance.

The Big Red brings a 12-game winning streak into this year's postseason.  Their only losses have come against tournament qualifiers, Rhodes and Gettysburg in March.

Senior Leah Israel has been the Big Red's swiss army knife in 2018.  The NCAC Tournament MVP has scored 42 goals with 13 assists, 69 draw controls and 27 caused turnovers in 17 games.  Sophomore Kiely Noonan has provided the offense with a team-best 68 goals and 27 assists.  Her 68 goals rank third on the Denison single-season leaderboard and her 95 points are the second-most in DU history.

Senior defender Jane Goodspeed leads the team with 83 draw controls, 66 ground balls, and 35 caused turnovers.

The Denison offense ranks 12th in Division III at 17.3 goals per game and the defense is ranked 26, allowing 7.2 goals per contest.

The Denison Sports Network will provide live video of Saturday's tournament game.  Ticket prices are $6 for adults, $3 for students (ages 13-21) and $2 for children (ages (3-12). The first 100 Denison students with an ID and the first 50 Denison faculty/staff members with an ID will be admitted free of charge.
