GRANVILLE, Ohio- The Denison men's basketball team will travel to Hiram, Ohio for the quarterfinals of the 2018 North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament. Denison and Hiram will tipoff at Price Gymnasium at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Denison enters the tournament with a 14-11 overall record and a 10-8 mark in the NCAC. Hiram clinched the No. 4 seed with a 15-10 record and an 11-7 record in conference play.
The Big Red is 2-0 on the year against the Terriers, winning on January 17 in Granville by a final score of 68-62. Last week in Hiram, the Big Red went on a tear in the second half to leave with a 78-60 victory.
This is the 10th straight year Denison has qualified for the NCAC Tournament. The Big Red has advanced to the NCAC Semifinals in three of the last six seasons.
Maxwell Siwik leads DU in scoring at 16.1 ppg. He is coming off a 21-point outing against Wabash on Saturday. Garrett Collier dropped a career-high 27 points against the Terriers on Feb. 14.
Tickets will be $7 for adults and $5 for children (18 and under), NCAC Guest Pass holders or students without an NCAC institution ID. Students with an ID from an NCAC institution will be admitted free of charge.
